My faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of both my personal life and my work as a therapist. Through God’s grace, I have experienced His faithfulness in seasons of joy, uncertainty, and growth. Those experiences have deepened my compassion for others and strengthened my desire to walk alongside individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges with hope and purpose.
One of the passages that most shapes my approach to counseling is Romans 12:2: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” This verse beautifully reflects the counseling process—healing often begins as we examine our thoughts, challenge unhelpful patterns, and embrace truth that leads to lasting transformation. I also find continual encouragement in Proverbs 3:5–6, which reminds us to trust in the Lord rather than relying solely on our own understanding.
I believe God cares deeply about our emotional, relational, and spiritual well-being. My counseling approach integrates evidence-based therapeutic practices with a Christian worldview, recognizing that true healing addresses the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. For clients who desire it, I incorporate prayer, Scripture, and faith-based discussion into our sessions, helping them explore how biblical truth can provide hope, wisdom, and direction throughout their healing journey. For clients who prefer a different level of spiritual integration, I honor their preferences while providing compassionate, ethical, and effective care.
My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. Whether you are navigating anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, trauma, or life transitions, I am honored to walk alongside you as you pursue healing, growth, and the transformation that comes through renewed thinking, God’s grace, and practical tools for everyday life.
