My work as a counselor is deeply shaped by both my faith and my own healing journey. I have been sober since 2006, and through recovery I have experienced firsthand the redemptive power of God’s grace, truth, and presence in the healing process. That lived experience fuels my passion to walk alongside others with humility, compassion, and hope.

Several Scriptures guide my work, including Romans 12:2, which speaks to the renewing of the mind, Psalm 34:18, reminding us that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and John 8:36, affirming the freedom found in Christ. These verses ground my belief that healing is possible and that God meets us tenderly in our pain.

In therapy, I incorporate Biblical teachings in ways that are collaborative and client-led. When desired, this may include prayer, Scripture reflection, exploring spiritual identity, or integrating Biblical truths about grace, attachment, forgiveness, and restoration. I view counseling as a space where clinical wisdom and the truth of God’s Word can work together to support healing for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

I welcome clients wherever they are in their faith journey and seek to create a safe, Christ-centered space where growth, restoration, and deeper connection with God and others can unfold.
