In 2016, I responded to a clear call from God to enter ministry, which led me to return to school in my mid-40s to pursue degrees in Christian counseling and clinical mental health counseling. Today, I am a licensed clinician who integrates evidence-based care with biblical principles for clients who desire a faith-centered approach to healing.

My work is rooted in the truth of Philippians 2:13—“For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him” (NLT). I believe that God calls us not only to spiritual wholeness, but also to emotional wellness, and I am passionate about helping others find healing in both areas. Whether through my private practice or nonprofit work, my heart is to serve as a bridge between the church and the mental health world, particularly within communities where access to faith-informed care has historically been limited.

I incorporate Scripture, prayer, and spiritual reflection into sessions as appropriate, and often draw from passages like Galatians 6:2 (“Carry each other’s burdens…”) and Matthew 11:28–30, where Jesus invites the weary to find rest in Him. These truths guide my approach, offering space for grace, healing, and growth. I see the counseling relationship as sacred—an opportunity to join with clients in exploring how God is at work even in their pain, and to walk with them toward restoration in mind, body, and spirit.
