As a christian counselor I work to partner with you to co-create an environment where we can find wholeness and abundant life for you again. I am an attachment based therapist, which means I see the relationship between therapist and client as the most important agent for change. I believe God designed us in such a way that healing best happens in the context of safe relationships and I work to make the therapeutic space a place where healing can take place. I believe that because you are unique, how the session looks may vary person to person. I also understand how personal and intimate a relationship with God can be, so in the therapy session I tend to let my client take the lead on how much overt spiritual integration happens. That being said, I do my best to stay sensitive to the Holy Spirit in session and will usually pray over my clients between sessions. I work with people struggling with a number of issues, but mostly I work with individuals in big transitions, trauma survivors, and women who struggle with sexual issues.
