For over 25 years, I’ve devoted my life to helping people grow, heal, and change for the better. My journey has taken me across the globe and through nearly every corner of the human services field—from international development to mental health care, from disability services to faith-based coaching.

For nearly five years in Africa, I trained teachers in math instruction, educated villagers on the importance of clean water and basic sanitation, and led in-country training programs for incoming Peace Corps Volunteers. I also served as a case worker supporting Sudanese refugees before they resettled in the United States.

Back in the U.S., I spent 14 years working with adults with intellectual disabilities—as a direct care worker, case manager, group home manager, and program coordinator. I served on the board of directors for a nonprofit employment agency for adults with disabilities and as Vice President of the American Association on Mental Retardation (now AAIDD) for Region 10 (Northeast U.S. and Southeast Canada). I’ve also worked in mental health care, serving as a psychiatric nurse’s aide at the Brattleboro Retreat in Vermont.

In 2014, I founded 7-70 Re-entry Services, a nonprofit dedicated to coaching and counseling formerly incarcerated individuals as they reentered their communities. When that organization concluded in 2023, my wife Suzanne and I launched S&S Pastoral Services—a ministry offering Christian Life Coaching and Pastoral Counseling to believers seeking guidance, healing, and purpose, in the spirit of 2 Corinthians 1:4.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Life Coaching from Life Catalyst Institute, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a Local Ministerial License with the United Pentecostal Church International under Pastor Rick Gonzalez.
