I am a Christian stress and trauma coach certified through the American Association of Christian Counselors and practice in Phoenix, Arizona. I am dedicated to helping clients
• Take steps to reduce stress and anxiety
• Develop their goals in moving towards a more balanced life
• Find God’s peace and hope
We may have had hurtful relationships and experiences that make it difficult to experience God’s love and grace. Sometimes we need another person who can listen to us and guide us through a healing process. I am present to listen to clients and support them through a healing process to find hope, God’s love and make healthy choices about their needs.

I find comfort in Jesus’ invitation to carry my burdens. He says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28) What I help clients with is finding the peace and rest Jesus’ promises.
I have a Master of Divinity degree in pastoral counseling and an M.A. in Marital and Family Therapy. I spent over twenty-five years counseling in family therapy clinics and as a pastoral counselor.
As a child I realized that I had disobeyed God and I asked Jesus to forgive my sins. Several years later a camp counselor helped me understand from John 3:16 that since I was depending on Jesus Christ for forgiveness, he would do what he promised and give me eternal life. Through prayer and reading the Bible I began growing in knowing more about Jesus every day. This helped me though my teenage years finding God’s help in dealing with problems.

After completing my undergraduate degree at San Diego State University, I served as a campus minister for several years helping students grow spiritually at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, California. Some of the students I worked with were depressed but I knew little about helping them with their emotional struggles. This led me to study pastoral counseling and family therapy at the International School of Theology and Azusa Pacific University learning how to help individuals, couples and families with emotional struggles such as anxiety and depression.
