My name is Megan Duffey, though that’s not “who” I am. I am a Child of God; which can never be taken from me (or you). I’ve been through a lot of abuse in my life, from childhood all the way through my adult years; especially during the duration of my fourteen year marriage.

A lot of times people who have been hurt can and will diminish your spirit; whether by intent or accident. They may not (though some definitely do), realize the extent of the harm they are inflicting on you, your children, your friends or your extended family; not to mention your spirit. They are, after all, damaged themselves (though that is no excuse). I was abused most of my life in almost every way you can imagine (my two children are also Survivors), nevertheless, I still have an extreme zest for life. I feel visceral pain when I notice someone suffering and always try to do the best I can to help.

My prayer is that I can help you to realize what an amazing gift you are to yourself, your loved ones and to the rest of the world; to help you to live your life more abundantly and reignite that spark in your soul. You might not even believe you possess it anymore, (by the way, you SO do). That spark of divinity is intrinsic. It can only be graduated, never extinguished!
