I am a 55 year old veteran of the U.S. Navy, with a unique background of experiences.  I have dedicated my life to helping and protecting others.  I have experience in military special operations, local and state law enforcement, I am a licensed practical nurse with experience in behavioral health and school nursing.  I most recently have served as a Juvenile Court Probation Officer, which consists of supervising, mentoring, and “counseling” juveniles that have been placed on probation.  I develop success plans for juveniles based on their cognitive, social, emotional, and mental health needs.  These plans are implemented to help guide the juvenile onto a path for a successful life.  Resources such as life skills, decision making, substance abuse treatment, psychiatric, and professional counseling.  I coordinate these plans with the juvenile’s parents/guardians, school counselors and teachers, healthcare providers, and social service agencies such as the Department of Family and Children Services.  I am a Board Certified Master Mental Health Coach.  I incorporate both Biblical and spiritual principals into my coaching sessions with clients. Regardless of religion, denomination, or spirituality most are rooted in the same simple principles.  Be kind to others and choose good over evil.  Treat people the way you would want to be treated.  Having served on four continents, I have strong and unique understanding of cultural and religious diversity and great respect for all people.  I work well especially with veterans, first responders, and juveniles.  I specialize in youth coaching.  I also excel at working with all clients with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Substance abuse and addiction, mental health disorders, motivational, and behavioral issues.
