Ephesians 5:13 talks about bringing things into the light. This is a great reminder of the transformative power of truth. At Resolution Life Coaching we believe that bringing all things into the light of Christ is the first and most important step in recovery and moving forward into the rest of your life. We believe in holistic health, so we also talk about other areas of life. I think often about King Saul in first and second Samuel. It’s possible he may have had some mental health issues, along with pride and disobedience. His story reminds me on a regular basis that he (and I) was given numerous opportunities to get help from the prophets, and others, so that he could continue on as king of Israel. He could have accepted help, in the power of God, and been a great king. Instead, he chose to go his own way. It is my belief that if we can bring our struggles out, shine the light of Christ into them, and work through them together, we can help get you back into the fight and move you on as the king God wants you to be.
