God has blessed me with a calling that goes far beyond a profession—it is the heartbeat of my ministry. My passion is to walk with Christians both individually, and as couples by helping them experience the healing, restoration, and spiritual renewal that only Christ can bring. I believe marriages thrive when both partners commit to ongoing “marital maintenance,” keeping their love, communication, and spiritual connection strong in Christ. As Proverbs 11:14 reminds us, “Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.” Counseling is not simply about solving problems; it’s about building Christ-centered lives that stand the test of time.

My academic journey has deepened my understanding of both the Word of God and the human heart. I hold a Doctorate in Theology with a research emphasis on Pastoral Theology and a Doctorate in Intercultural Studies with a research emphasis on African American Mental Health and Intersectionality, examining how culture, history, and faith intersect in the way people approach emotional and spiritual well-being. In addition, I am Biblical Counselor, which has equipped me to guide others through life’s storms with biblical truth, compassion, and practical wisdom. Galatians 6:2 says, “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” This is the very foundation of my counseling ministry—coming alongside God’s people to help carry their burdens to the cross.

My 22 years of service in the United States Army taught me the values of resilience, perseverance, and selfless service—qualities that I now carry into my counseling ministry. I understand that healing takes courage, and restoration requires faith-filled endurance. Whether I am helping a couple rediscover their love, or encouraging an individual to press forward through emotional pain, I know that victory is possible when we seek God’s wisdom together. Proverbs 15:22 reminds us, “Without counsel plans fail, but with many advisers they succeed.” My testimony is simple: God has brought me through seasons of challenge and change so I can be an instrument of His hope, truth, and grace in the lives of others.
