My faith has always been the foundation of my life and calling. I grew up as a missionary kid, which gave me a front-row seat to God’s faithfulness in many different cultures and seasons. He has faithfully walked with me through both seasons of joy and deep suffering. I’ve wrestled with doubt, explored other worldviews, and ultimately found my faith strengthened as I experienced His peace, presence, and healing power in very real ways. Jesus has met me in my most broken places, and out of that redemption flows my heart to walk with others on their healing journeys.

I believe the Bible is the living, unchanging Word of God. It’s the foundation that guides my life, my work, and the way I care for people. In counseling, I gently weave Biblical truth into the therapeutic process in ways that honor each person’s comfort level. This may include prayer, Scripture reflection, worship, or integrating faith-based resources with evidence-based approaches. I see every client as uniquely created by God, deeply loved, and full of purpose. My desire is to create a safe and compassionate space where faith and clinical care work hand in hand to bring freedom, peace, and restoration.

As the Founder and Owner of Creative Family Counseling and Coaching in Buford, GA, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Registered Play Therapy Supervisor (RPT-S), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and Certified Child & Adolescent Trauma Professional (CATP). I specialize in working with children, teens, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, self-esteem challenges, and cross-cultural transitions. My approach integrates play therapy, sandtray, expressive arts, CBT, ACT, DBT, IFS, and Christian counseling to create safe, creative spaces for healing and growth.

Because I work extensively with children, teens, and families, I often use creative tools such as play therapy, sandtray, and expressive arts to help clients feel seen and safe—while offering the hope and love of Jesus in a way that connects with their hearts. I’ve seen time and again that faith and mental health are not in conflict but beautifully complement one another when invited into the healing process.
