I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor with over 8 years of clinical experience. I am passionate about empowering others to know that they are not alone and that positive change is possible. As a Christian, I believe that the Lord is always with us and helps us navigate through the many challenges that one can experience in life. I believe that true healing and hope can only be found through our Lord and Savior. I have a background working in Christian ministry for 3 years while living in Tennessee. I attended Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN, where I received my B.S. degree in Biblical studies with a concentration in women’s ministry and a minor in Deaf studies.

I utilize a person-centered approach, knowing that each person has unique experiences and out of that different values, beliefs, and passions are developed. My counseling style is non-judgmental, empathetic, and genuine. I create a safe place where you can come as you are and know that you will be accepted, encouraged, and challenged along the way. I am a trauma informed counselor and have experience working with complex PTSD. I enjoy working with individuals ages 14 and up, specializing in the areas of ADHD, anxiety, depression, domestic violence/abuse, grief/loss, life transitions, parenting, perinatal concerns, relationship distress, and general wellness. I utilize the following clinical modalities of logotherapy, somatic/mindfulness approaches, CBT, DBT, and trauma/grief interventions. I have a strong interest in helping those who are experiencing perinatal mental health concerns related to childbearing for both moms and for dads. I have completed advanced training in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International (PSI).
