Todd is a Professional Life / Leadership Coach with experience in leadership, counseling, coaching and mentoring. He served in Pastoral Ministry for over 29 years providing pastoral care and pastoral biblical counseling to those within and outside the church. He has walked alongside of people who have gone through difficult experiences and hardships that have impacted their view of God, and their ability to find purpose and hope. Todd’s coaching style is client-centered, and has been shaped by the many hardships he has faced. Todd has a special interest in providing support and a safe space for people who have loved ones dealing with mental health challenges. He volunteers with the NEABPD (https://www.borderlinepersonalitydisorder.org) serving as a co-leader for one of their Family Connections classes. Todd coaches clients serving as Clergy, and who are dealing with personal, ministry, and/or leadership related challenges. Todd is an avid lifelong learner, a good listener, and highly relatable. He is an encourager believing the best about people. Todd strives to create a safe space for people to share at the deepest level without fear, shame or guilt. “Refined Coaching, LLC” is based on the Greek word dokimos. In ancient Greece, dokimos was used in metallurgy to describe metals that had been tested for quality and purity. Todd started Refined Coaching, LLC with a strong desire to help people live genuine, purposeful lives, and learn how to overcome hardships, roadblocks and obstacles in a way that builds character, worth and authenticity.

Key Scriptures that guide Todd’s coaching are Psalm 46:10, James 1:12, 2 Corinthians 12:9, Philippians 4:6-8, Psalm 34:8 and Proverbs 3:5-6, with James 1:3-12 as primary.

Todd incorporates his faith, the Scriptures, and prayer into sessions at the comfort level of the client.
