Many years ago at the age of seven, I gave my life to the Lord. I’ve had a deep love for Jesus. I was the kind of child who would pray for others and reach out to those around me, often asking people, “Are you a Christian?” For as long as I can remember, I’ve cared deeply about the well-being of others.

Even now, as an adult, my heart breaks over the state of the world. So many people spend their lives chasing things that hold no eternal value. But I believe I’ve been called to be a source of hope for those who feel lost, discouraged, or in despair—which is one of the reasons I became a therapist.

As the world grows darker and more divided, I believe that Bible-believing therapists are needed more than ever—to stand in the gap, not just for the lost, but also for fellow believers whose faith may be wavering. I’ve had my own share of struggles—seasons that made me question my faith, my worth, and even God’s goodness. I understand what it feels like to doubt, to wrestle, and to wonder if things will ever get better.

To anyone feeling overwhelmed or uncertain: you’re not alone. Maybe you’re in a season of transition and finding it hard to adjust. Maybe you’re facing a personal crisis of faith. Whatever you’re walking through, I want you to know that it’s okay to be where you are—and as your therapist, I will walk with you through it. Together, we can navigate the challenges ahead with compassion, honesty, and hope.

Whenever I think of counseling, I’m reminded of the Holy Spirit—our Comforter. Jesus Christ Himself is described in Scripture as a friend who sticks closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24) and is called the “Wonderful Counselor” (Isaiah 9:6-7). As a Christian—one who follows Christ—I believe we are called to live according to His Word. This includes embodying the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

As a counselor who happens to be a Christian, I strive to reflect Christ-like character in every interaction. I believe that successful therapy begins not only with the client, but also with the therapist. I’m mindful of how my own attitude and behavior can impact those around me. My relationship with Christ keeps me grounded and centered, no matter what challenges life may bring.

I bring to the therapeutic space both professional training and a willingness to continue learning. I approach each client with empathy, patience, and without judgment—seeking to understand their experience while demonstrating the faithfulness and goodness that guide my practice.
