Thank you for taking a few moments to learn more about me. I’m Amiee, a board‑certified PMHNP, and I’d like to share a bit about my journey and the foundation of my practice:

My Story:

I was raised Catholic and always believed Jesus died for me, yet my early life was marked by domestic violence, abuse, addiction, and poverty. Those early years, enduring conflict and chaos notably impacted me.  During my teenage years, I struggled deeply, darkness seemed to have a strong hold. Through it all, God’s presence was a steady anchor in my life. Serving in the U.S. Navy, though brief, was profoundly impactful, providing me with newfound freedom and independence. It was during this time that I encountered Baptist faith, which significantly influenced my spiritual journey. Though I lived with one foot in faith and one out, those experiences were pivotal. Eventually, I settled into a non‑denominational walk with Christ, fully surrendering and finding true freedom and purpose.
What Full Surrender Looks Like
Living with total surrender has helped me understand who I am in Christ and given me purpose rooted in love, not performance. That freedom empowers me daily as a woman, wife, mother, and provider.

Guiding Scripture
John 15:5 says, “I am the vine; you are the branches…apart from me you can do nothing.” I carry this verse into every session; it reminds me and my clients that true healing comes from staying connected to Christ. As branches draw life from the vine, I encourage clients to nurture that connection and experience spiritual-rooted growth and resilience.

Combining Faith & Care

I use biblical wisdom alongside evidence-based methods (like CBT) to bring God’s truth into each therapeutic conversation.
When welcomed, I integrate prayer, Scripture, and spiritual reflection to offer hope and peace.
My goal is to support whole-person healing; mental, emotional, and spiritual always grounded in God’s love.
I recognize the importance of physical wellness in the healing process. Jesus often met people’s physical needs, offering food, rest, and touch, before addressing their deeper spiritual or emotional concerns. Following His example, I incorporate natural, holistic approaches to support the body as part of whole-person care. When truly necessary, I also provide thoughtful and careful medication management as part of a comprehensive, compassionate treatment plan.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, spiritual disconnection, or simply seeking alignment in your life, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, clinical insight, and faith-based encouragement.

If you’re hoping to find care that honors your mental health, spiritual journey, and supports your whole well-being, including your physical health, I would be truly honored to walk alongside you. When you feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from your true self, please know you are not alone. Together, we will gently explore the roots of your struggles, tap into your inner strength, and build a path toward lasting freedom and healing through a holistic approach that cares for your mind, body, and spirit.

Whenever you are ready, I am here to answer your questions or help you schedule a session. Let us take this next step together.
