I was 14 when I began my journey as a Christian. I began going to church and youth activities with a friend from school and realized it was the hole in my life that I was missing. When I started my personal journey with Him, I was all in. I went to every event I was able to go to, spent time with my new Christian family and absorbed all I could in His teaching and His Word.  I went to Bible college to become a missionary, but God had a different mission field for me. One of my gifts He has chosen to give me is FAITH. I have never waivered in my faith. That is not to say I have not made bad choices and have had to come to Him for repentance (daily), but I have always known through it all He is there beside me. I love John chapter 1. It talks about abiding in Him always because He is the Light and in Him is no darkness, He is God and He was in the beginning of it all. I draw on His Word often when working with clients that believe and want to be challenged in the Word. Not all problems come from sin and sometimes bad things happen to good and Godly people. God has given us a beautiful and wonderful mind, but when these things happen it can be difficult to process them and understand them. I am an encourager, a listener and someone God has given a gift (trauma healing) to that I don’t take for granted.
