I’m a Christian counselor who believes therapy is sacred space—a place where healing and hope meet faith and evidence-based care.

In 2016, I responded to a clear call from God to enter ministry. That call led me back to school in my mid-40s, where I pursued degrees in Christian counseling and clinical mental health counseling. Today, I am not only a licensed clinician, but also a licensed minister and Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) graduate, with a focus on mental health ministry and the integration of faith and emotional wellness.

My work is rooted in the truth of Philippians 2:13 (NLT): “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.” I believe that God invites us into both spiritual wholeness and emotional healing — and that these two areas are deeply connected.

In my practice, I provide a sacred space where clients can explore their challenges through a biblical lens. I often incorporate Scripture, prayer, spiritual reflection, and soul care practices into sessions when desired. Verses like Galatians 6:2 (“Carry each other’s burdens…”) and Matthew 11:28–30, where Jesus invites the weary to find rest, guide my heart and clinical approach.

Whether through private counseling or community work, I am passionate about bridging the gap between the church and the world of mental health — especially in communities where access to faith-informed care has been limited. I have a special heart for helping those who help others — therapists, ministry leaders, and caregivers — who often give endlessly yet rarely pause to care for their own souls.
