I cannot remember a time in my life where God was not my primary motivator.  I was blessed with parents who shared their love and faith throughout my life.  As a young girl, I knew that I wanted to share God with others through my actions.  I was baptized in a small church when i was 10 years old and then again as an outward commitment to devote my adult life to God as well.  I have spent most of my life mentoring and leading teens and young adults as they walk their faith journeys.  My husband and I served as missionaries to Cuernavaca, Mexico for 5 years.  Upon our return to the states, we were fortunate to serve a church in The Woodlands, Texas and in the west end of Richmond, Virginia.  As a counselor, I am privileged to share Jesus with those who are looking for peace and healing through prayer, scriptures, and encouragement.  It is an honor to be a vessel through which God can meet his broken children where they are.  My favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know he plans I have for you…plans to prosper you and not harm you.”  God wants to bring healing, not harm, to his chosen people and I am thankful that He allows me to be a part of His kingdom work!
