She earned her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Dietetics from UT Southwestern and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. As the owner of Lemond Therapy, a strong partner of Flourish Counseling Center, Angela specializes in Christian counseling for individuals, couples, and families.

Angela’s therapeutic approach draws from an eclectic mix of evidence-based modalities. She is inspired by Paul Gilbert’s Compassion-Focused Therapy, which emphasizes mindfulness and invites unconditional self-care and kindness. With her extensive background in nutrition, she skillfully integrates solution-focused approaches such as Steven C. Hayes’ Acceptance and Commitment Therapy when appropriate. For couples counseling, Angela utilizes both Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and the Gottman Method, and she is certified as a SYMBIS facilitator for both engaged and married couples.

Angela worked in all areas of practice as a pediatric dietitian at Children’s Medical Center (now Children’s Health) before launching Lemond Nutrition in 2009. This regional private practice specializes in eating disorders, clinical pediatrics, gentle nutrition with a weight-neutral approach, digestive nutrition, allergies, sports nutrition, and corporate wellness. Lemond Nutrition partners closely with Flourish Counseling Center to provide comprehensive care for clients navigating food and wellness concerns.
