I am a born again Christian provider who has embraced the redemptive mission our Lord and savior Jesus Christ accomplished by His death on the cross. I truly believe that we are dearly loved and chosen to live fulfilled lives. However, the challenges we face have the tendency of hindering us from enjoying what is really ours. Fortunately enough, our savior has already availed for us a path for us to access our wellness. This is the reason why providers like me have been endowed with insights to guide those who hurt on their path towards their healing. I stand on the promises made in scriptures such as, “beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health just as your soul prospers,” (3 John 2). I often utilize the biblical metaphor of light and darkness and liken those challenges we encounter to the darkness that cloud our path. As a provider I assume the role of a guide and incorporate scriptures to help navigate my clients from that utter darkness to the marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9-10) to the wellness they seek in their treatment.
