Hello,

I am excited to share a little about myself with you.  First off, thank you for visiting my profile, and whether you choose to work with another provider or me, I pray you find the right fit and the path to living out your God given design.

I have been providing faith-based counseling for 30 years. I hold two licenses (LPC and LAC) in the state of Colorado and many certifications in Integrative Mental Health, Brain Spotting, Acu-Detox, Christian Life Coaching, and Holistic Cancer Coaching. My life mission is to heal and grow God’s people. My life is one of service and balance. Teaching others to live their best life and walking in the light of Christ for healing, forgiveness, discipline, strength, and accountability. The life of a believer is not the “path of least resistance”; in fact, I often think it is as the scripture says, ” a narrow gate,” Matthew 7:13-14, and that makes it a journey best not traveled alone. My role as a therapist/coach is to partner with the client and work in tandem with them.

I live out my service in my day-to-day life. Leaning into the grace of God, challenging myself to put my heart where my thoughts are and truly believe in all circumstances. I could offer many examples of this, but there is not enough room in the text! However, I will share that in December of 2024, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I spent 2025 navigating my faith and my healing through multiple surgeries and oncology treatments, all the while caring for my eldest brother, who was also going through cancer care and passed in my home on March 28, 2025. To be sure, this was a trying season, and I can tell you that in the midst of it, I have never felt more clear about what it means to BELIEVE. While going through this, I could not find behavioral health support for oncology, so I became the support. I serve folks with depression, anxiety, life transition, stress,trauma, couples, and now oncology patients and caregivers. What a beautiful ministry!

My faith is who I am. The very core of my view of life is a key ingredient in working with others. The beauty of it is that we get to be who and where we are with no judgment. I live by biblical principles; therefore, that is the foundation of how I interact with others. There are so many ways scripture guides the process. I am a vessel, and the Holy Spirit is the counselor.  By the way, not everyone I see is faith-based, and that has never been a barrier. Who God intends me to serve, he sends!
