Hi, I’m Manuela. I’m a licensed mental health counselor in Florida, and I love helping people move out of stuck patterns and toward a life that feels clearer and more manageable.

Change often feels like two steps forward and one step back. It can bring up frustration, guilt, shame, anxiety, or numbness, and that is completely understandable given what you’ve been through. These feelings do not mean you are broken beyond repair.

In our work together, we’ll gently explore the stories you tell yourself about who you are and what you can handle. I combine practical, evidence-based therapy with trauma-informed and relational approaches to help you build healthier habits, regulate strong emotions, and relate to yourself and others in more nourishing ways. My goal is to help you take ownership of your emotions without letting them control you.

I also offer an integrative counseling approach combining a Christian worldview with psychological insights. In this approach I draw on Biblical wisdom and principles for comfort, guidance, and meaning. I also recognize that faith and church experiences can sometimes be sources of hurt, and I approach those areas with care and compassion. My hope is to provide a space where you can process both your pain and your faith freely, without judgment.
