How often do we feel like the disciples on Good Friday – completely forgetting Jesus promised He’d come back in 3 days, completely forgetting who He is because the pain, grief, and trauma tangled in our circumstances seem to disconnect us from Who He is and What He promised?

This is precisely the work I focus on therapeutically – from a somatic (body and nervous system) based approach. I love to offer psychoeducation to help you understand God’s design for your nervous system and how our survival responses can cause us to “do the things we dont want to do or not do the things we do want to do.” With solid Biblical understanding and proven therapeutic resources, I help you understand why your head knowledge feels disconnected from your heart/experience. I help you understand why you may be experiencing disconnection from God, others, and even from your true self.

We work together to identify areas of disconnect and find connection once again. Whether your “disconnection” feels like a dry season of faith, a broken marriage, anxiety/depression that keeps you from feeling like yourself, etc – I have walked with many believers to find their way back to connection and healthier lives.
