I grew up as a pastor’s kid. The mix of urban ministry and home life with a sibling with profound developmental and cognitive disabilities was the unique landscape that shaped my own personal development and spiritual journey of following Jesus. Now, as a therapist, I’m drawn to working with emotionally overwhelmed adults, couples feeling disconnected, and teenagers learning to advocate for themselves within high intensity, complex family dynamics. Many of my clients are deeply reflective and want more than just coping skills — they are looking for a space to be engaged and to be known, to speak honestly about their experiences, and to slowly, consistently make changes in their lives that they feel proud of and that align with their values.
