Welcome! I’m Shey, an IFS-informed therapist who wishes to help you navigate the journey from unhealed trauma to meaningful personal growth. I approach our work together with warmth, empathy, and evidence-based practices, all aimed at helping you discover and embrace your true self.

We shouldn’t feel like we need to wait for a crisis to put on our oxygen masks… I’ve done this too often myself, and learned the hard way. Practicing self-care should be a daily priority, so we’re ready to show up for ourselves and for those we hold dear when it matters most. It’s important for me to provide a safe space for survivors of emotional & psychological abuse. I specialize in supporting women who have experienced difficult marriages & relationships, helping them rebuild their lives. Understanding the impact such trauma can have on self-esteem & identity, I offer a non-judgmental setting where you can process your experiences, rediscover your inner strength, & restore your sense of self-worth.

I also provide PRE-marital counseling to young couples, support for individuals facing depression, and hold space for those navigating the complexities of overlapping cultural backgrounds. In our sessions, I blend the principles of CBT & IFS with a holistic view of trauma, integrating emotional recovery with practical tools for growth (you will learn to “listen” to your emotional parts and validate them, as well as how to use mindfulness skills to expand your window of tolerance). I will integrate a Biblical perspective into our work if/when you open that door. I will walk alongside you on your wellness journey to explore the dynamics that have shaped your past & current relationships & build a path toward healing, resilience, & a fuller sense of self!
