When human beings experience traumatic events or severe life stressors, it is not uncommon to feel like their life is unraveling. My passion is to help bring hope and healing to those who’s lives have endured a traumatic/stressful life experience. I help my clients, who include adults, elder adults and married couples, to find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can flourish in life. I approach all counseling from a Biblical worldview. Without a healthy vertical relationship with God, our horizontal relationships will struggle to be complete, whole, and safe.
No single approach is the right one for every single human being, and so I have been trained in a range of modalities to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. We will work together to find the best fit for you.
After many years of being in public safety, God brought me out of that field to prepare me for this calling. For years I worked to solve others personal issues. God has now placed me in an environment where I will walk with you as you learn how to process and work through traumatic/stressful situations in order to have a healthy and prosperous life.
