Heidi is a graduate of University of Lynchburg. She earned her Masters of Education in Clinical Counseling and an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Counseling. She has been working in the behavioral health field for over 15 years. She started her journey in the mental health field as a case manager, intensive-in-home therapist, crisis intervention provider, and school-based clinician. Heidi specialized in treating clients with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, ADHD and life transitions. She offers a nonjudgmental space that fosters growth and helps her clients create the change you are seeking. She uses evidence-based approach to therapy in order to help her clients feel a sense of connection, acceptance and peace. Heidi’s modalities are cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, parts-therapy, art therapy, and family internal systems approach.
