Diane Sellers, MA, PMHRN, LMFT

Born and raised in Coronado, California, Diane has been a Registered Nurse for over 45 years and is Licensed Marriage Family Therapist. She is trained in psychiatric mental health, sandtray therapy, and depth psychotherapy, with more than 20 years in private practice.

After graduating from Los Angeles County USC Medical Center School of Nursing, Diane put herself through Biola University, earning a BA with a double major in Social Science Intercultural Studies and Bible. After marrying, raising and homeschooling her three now-grown children, Diane returned to school to fulfill her childhood passion, earning a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpinteria, where she studied Jungian-based Depth Psychology.

Diane specializes in child therapy, recovery from trauma, covert emotional abuse, grief and loss, couples therapy, and is a Certified SYMBIS  Assessment Evaluator. She developed and holds workshops for clinicians on a topic dear to her heart, “The Elephant in the Room: Healing Abortion-related Trauma and Grief.”  Her nursing background includes chronic illness, hospice and home health.

In her free-time, Diane enjoys reading, music, ballroom dancing, and being with her adult children and grandchildren.

Diane considers it a privilege and honor to accompany her patients on their unique journeys, bringing healing to the deep, unseen wounds of the soul and transforming them holistically— body, mind, soul, and spirit.
